Abstract

Background: Vocational school students often have limited opportunities to develop
entrepreneurial competencies through authentic business experiences, resulting in inadequate
practical skills in product development, branding, digital marketing, and business
management. Objective: This community service aimed to implement and evaluate the
effectiveness of the Beaded Charmpreneur program as an experiential learning approach to
empower student entrepreneurship at SMKN 1 Waringinkurung. Method: The program was
implemented through training, workshops, mentoring, and an Entrepreneurship Fair involving
students of SMKN 1 Waringinkurung. The implementation consisted of preparation, execution,
monitoring, and evaluation stages. Program effectiveness was assessed using pre-test and posttest assessments, observations, and performance evaluations. Results: The average pre-test
score increased from 73 to 95 in the post-test, representing a 22% improvement in students'
entrepreneurial competencies. Participants also demonstrated enhanced skills in product
design, cost calculation, branding, digital marketing, teamwork, communication, and business
presentation while gaining hands-on business experience through the Entrepreneurship Fair.
Conclusion: The Beaded Charmpreneur program effectively strengthened students'2
entrepreneurial competencies through experiential learning and offers a practical and
replicable approach for entrepreneurship empowerment in vocational schools.
